John Beddoes Campus anti-bullying ambassadors have designed an eye-catching poster to promote their RESPECT campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to encourage an atmosphere of respect around the school, for each other and for their school environment.

The poster has been printed and displayed around the school.

Dear Parents/Carers

Last year the attendance of Newtown High School was 95.2% which showed us to be in the top 10% of schools in Powys. This was another consistently good year for the students and staff of Newtown High School. We are constantly striving to improve our attendance towards our whole-school target of 96% and we would appreciate your support in helping us to achieve this. Please read the full letter here.

Excellent attendance at school is important to allow a child or young person to fulfil their potential. To find out more about why attendance is vital for your child's success, please read this document.
