We have prepared materials and resources for students to continue their studies if they have to remain at home. These come in a variety of formats, outlined in the Learning Plans linked below.
Learning Plans
Learning Plans outline the topics of study for each subject, and are organised into campus and half-term of the school year.
A guide on how to use the different remote learning platforms we offer is available below.
Please note that students should log into Teams with their school email address (CyfleID @newtown-hs.powys.sch.uk) and password - not their Hwb logon details (username @hwbcymru.net).

Microsoft Teams video guides - Mr Griffiths has produced some guides to using Teams.
HomeFile - access school files and 'Resource Share' from home. Use your school email address.
Office 365 - Office and Microsoft Teams. Use your school email address.
Educake - Science resources. Separate login - ask the school if not known.
MathsWatch - Maths resources. Separate login - ask the school if not known.
Hwb - Welsh Government learning tools and resources. Separate login. Ask the school or check MyCyfle/Dashboard if not known.
Class Charts - student behaviour, rewards and monitoring.
Login details for all of these are available from school. HomeFile uses the student's usual username and password (CyfleID). Office 365 requires their email address and the CyfleID password. Educake and MathsWatch use separate details that we can provide, as does Class Charts. Hwb also uses separate details which are available from school or via MyCyfle if not known.
