Year 9 Newsletter

Earlier this term, a group of Year 9 students were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with local, award-winning journalist David Williams, co-founder and director of MyTown Media Ltd (which delivers the hyper-local news services of MyNewtown and MyWelshpool). He worked with them to provide expert advice and guidance as they put together their very own special edition of the school newsletter, to highlight what they think are the best aspects of life at Newtown High School.

Today they welcomed David back to the school to share the final version of their newsletter. We're sure you'll agree that they have done a fantastic job! They have worked so hard on this project, and we are very proud of them all. Thank you also to David for giving his time this term to come in and work with us.
