Year 7 & 8 Netball & New Kit Sponsor

Last Thursday our Year 7 and 8 Netball teams visited Llanfyllin to play some friendly games in preparation for upcoming tournaments.

The Year 7’s competed well and gave a good account of themselves on what for most may have been their first away sporting fixture, so well-done girls! With more training and experience we hope they will develop and pick up victories. They looked very smart in some of the fantastic new netball kit kindly sponsored by Evabuild, a massive thank you to for your generosity and supporting our pupils!

The year 8’s performed exceptionally well, winning 6-4. There were many superb performances and great team play, which is extremely positive news!

A big thank you to Year 10 Silver Ambassadors Phoebe and Lara who helped umpire and coach.

Also, a huge thank you to Jaz Barty from Sport Powys for accompanying us and helping coach. Her major standout player for the day was Bella in year 8 who scored multiple goals in their victory, so well-done Bella!
