World Skills UK Competition

In 2025, for the first time the World Skills UK competition is held in Wales. Students from the Newtown Campus were invited to witness the passing of the World Skills UK torch relay, passing on to the next generation of competitors.
Students got to take part in Catering Activities, tours of the facilities and on-site restaurant, introduction into different courses available in Further Education, the chance to watch live practical cooking demonstrations including Crêpes Suzette and mocktails and most importantly sampling a range of different foods.
