Women in STEM Day - 15th May

On the 15th of May a group of Year 8 students attended a fantastic Women in STEM day at Wrexham University. This inspiring opportunity, fully funded by Reaching Wider, gave students the chance to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and maths, and to meet role models working in these fields. Students were able to extract DNA, try their hand at coding and have talks from Xplore and Dr Helen.
