Welsh Cup & Plate Athletics Finals

Absolutely amazing effort from our fantastic pupils at yesterday’s Welsh Cup & Plate Athletics Finals at Brecon.

For 15 pupils out of the 30 yesterday this was the 1st year competing in athletics for NHS, to get to a National Final was just an amazing effort and incredible to see. All of them didn’t stop cheering and encouraging each other all day!

Team Results:
U13 Girls 7th in the Plate
U13 Boys 6th in the Cup
U15 Boys 8th in the Cup

Also a big shout to our u15 boys team, who had to deal with injury and illness, lots of them stepping up to compete in new events at the last minute, showing fantastic attitude and resilience.

Well done all of you, amazing effort and a very proud school!
