Welsh Cup Football U12 & U14 Boys

A successful start for both Newtown Campus teams in yesterday’s Welsh Cup 1st round fixtures vs John Beddoes Campus at Presteigne.

Our u12s impressed in a 18-2 win, goals shared between the prolific Thomas Pengelly-Leach, Tommy Pryce, Jack Davies, Clayton Arzu, Harry Williams, Kalil Al Mhamad and Thomas Owen. They now face Welshpool in the next round.

Our u14s settled well after going a goal down in the opening stages, booking their place in the next round with a 7-1 win. Konrad Sznajder was in top form scoring 6 goals with Logan Grant adding the extra. They now face the winners of Bro Hyddgen/Llanfair in the next round.

Great effort, attitude and performance from all pupils. Well done and da iawn pawb!
