U18 Netball Tournament

On Tuesday 21st October our Year 10 & 11 Netball team went to Ysgol Bro Caereinion and competed in the U18 North Powys Netball Tournament. Playing up an age group, they were prepared and ready for some good quality netball and some physically tough games. They fought very hard in all 4 matches scoring in every game played, although final scores were against us.

The team showed a great attitude to position changes, injury swaps and tactical play to allow themselves to get some good practice in before their own age group tournament after half term.

All 9 players should be really proud of their performances but a special mention to Maja and Nikola in defence as neither girl plays Netball for a team outside of school but certainly looked as though they belonged on the netball court!
