U16 Netball November 2025

Our Year 10 and 11 Girls competed in the U16 North Powys Netball Tournament last week which proved to be a excellent showcase of skill, determination, and teamwork, in a series of competitive fixtures.

The team produced a spirited performance across five matches, securing one victory against Ysgol Bro Hyddgen. Their determination shone through in two close games against Llanidloes and Bro Caereinion, where they earned valuable half-score points. Despite two hard-fought defeats to eventual champions Llanfyllin and runners-up Welshpool, the girls demonstrated grit and composure, refusing to let the scoreline overshadow their effort.
Each match highlighted their growing confidence, resilience and improved game play which is vital as this was a part of their GCSE PE Practical Assessment.
