U14 North Powys Hockey Tournament
Our U14 girls’ hockey team took part in the North Powys Hockey Tournament on Tuesday 2nd December, showing fantastic teamwork, determination, and school spirit throughout the day.
Match 1: A strong start against Welshpool, with some great attacking play and a well‑earned goal from Lola, finishing 3–1.
Match 2: Against Llanidloes, the team continued to show resilience and commitment, with another closely contested game finishing 2–0
Match 3: The girls battled hard against Ysgol Bro Caereinion, keeping their defensive shape and working tirelessly, ending 2–0.
While the scores didn’t go our way, every match was played with energy, positivity, and teamwork. The girls supported each other brilliantly, demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, and grew in confidence as the tournament progressed.
We are very proud of their efforts and the way they represented the school. Well done, Year 9!
