U13 Football - Newtown Campus v Llanfyllin High School

On Thursday 19th September our U13 girls played their first round game in the Welsh Schools Football Cup against Llanfyllin High School. The game was really competitive at half time with the score at 0-0, but in the second half Llanfyllin took control of the match and scored some late goals to secure their place in the next round.

All pupils represented the school brilliantly, a special mention to the six Year 7 girls who played up a year and did amazingly well and more than held their own!
