Powys U14 Rugby 7s

An excellent effort on Thursday 19th March from our Yr9 Rugby 7s squad in the sunshine at the annual Powys Schools Tournament in Llanidloes.

All pupils put in lots of fantastic performances, showing great effort in both attack and defence in some really competitive games of rugby. An early loss to eventual competition winners Llanidloes was backed up with an impressive win against Llanfyllin before being narrowly edged out in their final game vs Maesydderwen. Excellent attacking play, showing great width and support, led to tries scored by Kai x3, Olly P x3, Riley x2, Eathan x2, Will and Jacob K, as well as steadfast defending throughout led by Kai and Fin.

Well done to all of our pupils and a big thank you to Eon Williams and the WRU team for organising a great opportunity and experience for our pupils.
