North Wales Badminton Finals

On Wednesday 12th March both our girls and boys u13 & u15 teams, 16 pupils in all, had a very early start to make their way up to Deeside to compete in the North Wales Schools Badminton Finals.

After months of practice and qualification from the earlier North Powys round, all of our pupils performed fantastically well and certainly stepped up to the next level, with special mention going to both the u13 boys & u15 girls teams who both finished 3rd overall, and to our u13 girls team who were top performers coming 2nd overall!

Well done all of you, we’re incredibly proud of your efforts and it’s so great to see all of your hard work paying off! Also a big thank you to Sport Powys officers Gemma & Rebecca for organising and looking after our pupils on the day!
