NASUWT Powys Cup and Plate athletics

On Tuesday we held the annual NASUWT Powys Cup & Plate Athletics Meet at a very hot & sunny Maldwyn Athletics Track. After many weeks of practice our pupils represented the school fantastically well, with lots of excellent performances and all pupils showing exemplary conduct throughout the day.

Team success came with our U16 Boys coming 1st and our U14 Boys coming 2nd overall, both teams now go on to represent Powys in the Welsh Cup & Plate Finals in Brecon on Wednesday 10th. Both of our girls teams also performed really well helping them to finish in 5th place. A big well done to all!
